Day 4 Gratitude Challenge

Today I am grateful for my friend Katrina.

In the world of the Air Force, you make friends and then always have to say goodbye.  Either they move, or you do. With Katrina, we have had the pleasure of being stationed at two bases together, only separated by about 7 years.

Katrina is a great friend because she is so much fun.  I tend to take myself too seriously and Katrina helps me to let go and have fun.

Thank you Lord for the gift of a great friend!

Visit Garden of Learning to read what others are grateful for this year. Don’t forget to be grateful for things large and small this month!

Friendship is such a blessing. We still keep in touch with some people we knew from the Air Force 16 years ago.

We have remained friends with two guys my honey-hunk served with during the VietNam era. We've watch each others' families grow up and met at "halfway" points to share summer vacations. Now we are exchanging notes and pictures of the grandkids!

Friendship is an awesome treasure. Glad you have Katrina!

Blessings,
Cheryl

Good friends are hard to find. When we do they are treasure, and your right - something to be truly grateful for.

Thank you for the comments you've left on my blog.

I agree...good friends are hard to come and stick with when you are in a military town or like me, Dad just like moving around ALOT, more than if we were in the military.

PS....the picture isn't showing up, at least on my end.
