Today I am grateful for hot water. Yesterday we had the pilot light on our water heater blow out. Of course it went out about 7:30 in the morning, just after I had finished my time on the treadmill and was going to go take a shower. Having never lit a pilot light before, I was leery to try. So we waited till my husband came home from work. A day with no hot water really makes you appreciate a water heater. And, I now know, along with Matthew, just how to light the pilot light, just in case it happens again.
Now, hop on over to Brenda’s Garden of Learning and read what others are grateful for today. It is an eye opening and sometimes heart rending experience.

Hot water is one of those blessings we can easily take for granted. Good reminder!
I'm glad it was easily fixed! I'll bet you enjoyed your shower today. =)
The past couple of mornings I've had to take cool showers. Getting in after a couple teen girls...sheesh! You'd think they'd leave me some hot water too. Glad you got it fixed. If you ever need...I'm sure Dave would hop over from the shop to help you with something like that :)
We moved from a home with a huge hot water tank, to a place with a very tiny one. I miss those long hot showers.
Hot water...especially for a shower...is a life necessity! :-) Glad you got it back and were reminded of how nice it is to have. Have a wonderfully blessed day!
